As Senior UI/UX Designer at Tria Trading, you'll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and visually appealing features that address our customers' needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work with a visual designer, product manager and our development team. Together you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final products. In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. You'll translate their needs into user-friendly designs and have a direct impact on the customer's user-experience. We're seeking an experienced and outstanding member of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Research: As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you’ll delve into user research, product designs, and competitor strategies. Understanding user needs and preferences is essential to creating effective designs.
  • Ideate UI Elements: You’ll develop ideas for UI design elements. This involves UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like conceptualizing and designing components that enhance usability and aesthetics.
  • Inclusion and Accessibility: Ensuring that products follow inclusion and accessibility principles is vital. Your designs should cater to diverse user groups and be accessible to everyone.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You’ll work closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders involved in the product development process. Effective collaboration ensures cohesive design implementation.
  • Create User-Centered Solutions: Using research and data, you’ll craft wireframes, flows, and prototypes. Your goal is to create user-friendly designs that address customer needs.
  • Problem Prioritization: Identifying and prioritizing design challenges is part of your role. You’ll tackle complex problems and find elegant solutions.
  • Voice of the Customer: As the Senior UI/UX Designer, you’ll be the voice of the customers. Translating their needs into intuitive designs directly impacts the user experience.
  • Design graphic: design user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Build page navigation: buttons and search fields
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images


Must Have

  • BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Proven 3+ year work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Good time-management skills
  • You should have to know how to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.
  • You should have to know how to use the tools of the trade like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Marvel and Overflow.
  • You must have experience with user research and translating insights from research to your designs.
  • You need to have great communication skills both when interfacing with customers as well as when working with your team.
  • Have to be are flexible, decisive and you know how to put ego aside and focus on the needs of the customer.
  • You are able to lead large and complex projects.
  • You know how to define and prioritize problems to be tackled.
